| This image from September 18, 2003 at 2115Z shows Hurricane Isabel just after it made landfall near Drum Inlet, North Carolina as a Category 2 hurricane. Isabel weakened steadily as it moved across eastern North Carolina and lost tropical characteristics the next day over western Pennsylvania. |
