Tornado Warnings are posted at this time, 12:23 CST, for areas West of Montgomery, AL and north of Atlanta, GA, as a system of severe weather moves northeast through the Gulf states. The National Weather Service Office in Birmingham, AL states that a few severe thunderstorms are possible across eastern Alabama, with the primary threat being damaging straight line winds and possible isolated tornadoes.
