Hurricane Isaac Forms in the Gulf of Mexico

An Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft report indicates that maximum winds associated with Isaac have increased to 75 mph. On this basis, Isaac is being upgraded to a hurricane. This image is from GOES East at 1615Z on August 28, 2012.
