Hurricane Amanda in the Pacific Ocean

This image from GOES West at 1500Z on May 25, 2014 shows Hurricane Amanda at Category 4 strength. Jalisco State in Mexico is shown in the northeast part of the image. Amanda is the first tropical storm-strength storm to form during Pacific Hurricane Season 2014.
